Hiya!

Thanks for checking out my page. Here’s some more info about me and my practice.

I trained as a sports therapist in 2001 and used this knowledge to support my heavy strength training. In 2009, I started learning yoga from books and dvd’s to try and deal with a work injury, and general stress and frustration. It was a steep learning curve, but after discovering Ashtanga Yoga with David Swenson, I was hooked. Since then I have studied with Kino MacGregor, Tim Feldman, John Scott and Danny Paradise. I recently gained my 200hour yoga teaching certificate and became a yoga alliance accredited teacher. Check out my profile!

At Mint Yoga, we are committed to respecting the environment. We believe that taking care of the planet includes taking care of ourselves. That’s why I have chosen friendly peddle power for my mobile massage and yoga business.

I am currently offering a public class on Mondays in the Hut in Ushaw Moor, it is a beginners vinyasa yoga class. I am also looking at starting a gentler restorative class if I get enough interest, please see the services offered page for more details.

Gareth welcomes you in a cosy room. He really helped to relieve some tensions in my back and shoulders with his massages. He can talk you through what’s happening in your muscles if you’re curious about it, advice some streching etc etc. Very much recommended!.
